07-06-2003: "Dit voelt wel heel raar........"

Van iedereen afscheid genomen en dan blijkt dat ik nog een paar dagen moet wachten….
Visum in orde alleen ontbreekt “The letter of invitation” En zonder die brief kom je Turkmenistan niet in. En dat terwijl ik weet dat ze met smart op me zitten te wachten.
Wat heb ik hier nog te zoeken? De vlinders in mijn buik gaan toch echt niet meer terug in hun hok. De spanning over het onbekende blijft aanhouden.

Net nog bij Deen kom je allemaal bekenden teken. “Ben je nog niet weg?” Nou dan sta je weer uren te kwekken natuurlijk.
Volgens de laatste berichten vertrek ik nu op donderdag 12 juni
Zelf heb ik wel al wat foto’s van het plaatsje en het huis waar ik kom te wonen.
Ik twijfel nog even of ik ze al op het weblog zal zetten. Aan de andere kant kan het wel even duren eer ik zelfgemaakte foto’s uit Afghanistan kan laten zien.
Geduld is een schone zaak. Zeker als je al helemaal klaar bent om te vertrekken……….
